CET will continue to keep families apprised of all changes we make to our services to keep our families safe and our students engaged and performing at their best during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consult the websites linked below for information and updates about specific exams.
STANDARDIZED TESTING UPDATES
SSAT and ISEE are now offered at-home as well as in person. SAT and ACT do not currently have at-home offerings and may have limited in-person sites available. Dates, locations, and availability are changing constantly, so please check these pages frequently for the latest official information.
SAT, SAT Subject, SAT, and AP Tests (College Board)
On January 19th, 2021, College Board permanently cancelled the SAT Subject Testing program and the optional essay previously offered on the regular SAT exam. For students seeking to demonstrate mastery in specific advanced high school disciplines, CET recommends replacing SAT Subject Tests with AP exams, tests administered once a year in May on the same advanced topics. Enrollment in a corresponding AP class, while helpful, is not a prerequisite.
